Things to do in Ottawa - Ottawa Champions Baseball

Ottawa has a professional baseball team playing in the Can-Am League. Founded in 2014 the team has won 1st place in the Can-Am league in 2016 defeating the Rockland Boulders. Games are played at the Raymond Chabot Grand Thornton Park (or RCGT Park) located at 300 Coventry Rd just off HWY 417.
Located close to Downtown Ottawa getting to a game is very convenient as one can take the Light Rail Train once it opens and get off at the Tremblay Station of the LRT. Parking on site is $5. The RCGT park has a capacity of 10,332.
For a fun, cheap night out catch one of their home games by visiting the Ottawa Champions website
Tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for seniors and students, youth (6-15) is $5. Come for a Saturday night game and enjoy fireworks after the game!
Here are pictures from my summer client appreciation night in the private RCGT booth.
